FCS II MARK RICHARDS TWIN + STABILISER FIN SET

I began surfing over 40 years ago on a Mark Richards inspired McGrigor 5’10” twin fin. AJ Finan of Cannibal Surfboard told me he designed my newest board, a 5’9” H-Bomb, to be ridden with the Twin + Trailer setup. I tried it out with the MR 2+1 fin set in 6’ point break waves and had a blast. It was fast and loose, but with enough drive and control to come hard off the bottom and trim high on the wall. I can’t wait to take it out again.

Love the speed mixed with a great balance of loose feel but enough stability to maintain good control of turns and speed across sections

Set up as a quad, with these two larger fins on the outside and FCS II performance fins on the inside. More stability and drive through turns. Tighter in the pocket. Pretty happy with the set up. Looking forward to see how the set up goes in a shoulder season trip to the Ments in January.

These fins were super drivey but at the same time had great pivot . Surfed them on a beach break with punch and was super impressed.

After many year I came back to twin board, this one has the trailer set up.

This set up is magic.
